Additional information

<28> IF=2.982. Designated as 'highly accessed' by BioMed Central, this network (well annotated and validated, and available in SBML and other databases) reconstruction of yeast metabolism has been used as the starting point and knowledge base for various systems biology studies. These include: integrated metabolism regulation modelling (Pennsylvania State University, US; Gothenburg, Sweden; Denmark), kinetic modelling (UK: Manchester, Warwick, Cardiff, UCL; Luxembourg; Netherlands: VUA; US: Seattle, Virginia Tech), use of dynamic models to understand different biological phenomena and to assist bioengineering (Washington, US; Santiago, Chile; Kobe, Japan), and investigation of the emerging properties of metabolic networks (Cambridge, UK).
