The work has also been applied to discover technology trends using patent count data by Gaziantep University, Turkey; adapted to model granulated fertilizers' quality by Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland; and incorporated into a large-scale 3D digitizing system for cultural heritage documentation by Xi'an Jiaotong University.
