<22>IF = 1.729. Results generated from EPSRC project: Model based methods for kinematics fault diagnosis and remediation (£250+K). This was the first paper to create a fuzzy qualitative representation of trigonometry (FQT) in order to bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative representation of physical systems using trigonometry. The results have been applied to a number of areas including robot kinematics (Liu H., IEEE T Fuzzy Systems), human motion analysis (Chan, IEEE T Fuzzy Systems), and spatial reasoning (Liu J., AIJ).
