Additional information

No other paper exists in the peer-reviewed published literature which highlights the use of infrared imaging techniques for thin film flow temperature measurements in a spinning disc reactor. It is very challenging in practice to measure the temperature of extremely thin films without disrupting the flow field. This work thus represents a significant advancement in thin film flow characterisation using a non-invasive measurement technique.
