Additional information

This paper is the result of collaborative research on the generation of organic light emitting diodes for lighting applications. This paper extends the range of OLED applications by considering the mechanics of coating systems with flexible substrates and submicron coatings. The work was supported by Kodak as part of their drive to find alternative uses for their photographic film production technologies (contact Chris Winscome, formerly of Kodak, now Visiting Professor at Brunel University, chris.winscom@brunel.ac.uk, and a co-author of the paper).
