Additional information
This paper presents the first type of dual pore hydrophilic hydrophobic metal organic framework, and showed the first observation of kinetic molecular sieving of oxygen and nitrogen on a metal organic framework. The work reported in this paper led to an EPSRC award (Hemilabile and Switchable Metal-Organic Frameworks; EP/K005499/1; Newcastle award £262k) to continue the collaborative research.
