Additional information

In 2006 we published the first experimental observation of kinetic molecular quantum molecular sieving of H2 and D2 on carbon molecular sieves (J Phys Chem B 2006.110.9947). This paper describes the first observation of independent kinetic quantum molecular sieving of H2 and D2 in 2D channels in a metal organic framework and also the highest enthalpy of H2 adsorption at time of publication. The research led to further work within the £4M EPSRC Coordination Chemistry for Energy and Our Sustainable Futures programme grant (EP/I011870/1).
