Additional information
This paper presents a novel technology for CO2 capture via a catalyst (nickel nanoparticles - NiNPs), conversion to carbonic acid in water, and subsequent mineralisation in water at or near room temperature and atmospheric pressure. A patent application has been filed to cover this work (P202887GB), and commercial exploitation is being pursued through an award from the University’s EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account.
