Additional information

<09> An early version of the 2011 IFIP paper which uses a novel statistical mechanical argument and commonly used empirical defect distributions and conservation of defect to prove that component size distributions will obey a power-law approximately in lines of code. It then emphatically demonstrates this for 21 software systems in three programming languages.
