Additional information

The work presented here offers the first inspiration of logical/functional abstraction and physical integration of embedded distributed systems electronic architecture. This approach investigates some fundamental concepts in terms of processing capabilities, scalability, openness, space restriction, and all these in combinations to providing through life capability management. These concepts triggered further research in collaboration with QinetiQ under the UK MOD RT/COM/4/5008 umbrella grant and have influenced positively the UK MOD Vehicle Systems Integration (VSI) Standards and Guidelines.
