Additional information

Carbons evaporated from nanodiamond sources by in situ annealing produce individually separated, low defect, onion-like structures that can coat any substrate to create new electrode materials for energy storage in super-capacitors and batteries. Collaboration with a fuel cell company interested in coating bipolar plates resulted from this research (ref: Dr. Paul Adcock, Director of Research, Intelligent Energy).
