Additional information

<27>An interdisciplinary collaboration between a computer scientist, particle physicists and space scientists. The computer scientist (Beloff) developed a numerical tool for clearing SuperDARN backscatter reflections, which then in turn allowed the detection of Travelling Ionospheric Disturbances accurately, using a combination of ground-based and satellite measurements. Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics is a leading international journal in this area.
