Additional information

This paper is an extensive study in to hydrothermal methods for the controlled synthesis of mixed metal oxides. This research was carried out in collaboration with Johnson Matthey PLC (thomd@matthey.com) to provide new catalytic materials, which could not be prepared by traditional solid-state methods. The work attracted funding from STFC (~£40K) for access to both ISIS and Diamond and was part of an EPSRC funded project (EP/F012721/1) on controlling complex metal oxides.
