Additional information

<12> This research to develop a novel evolutionary framework is a good example of a successful international interdisciplinary collaboration between the University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain), Simula Research Laboratory (Norway), and the University of British Columbia (Canada). This paper brings together the expertise of three reputable experts in cybersecurity, along with international experience in cooperative-based ad hoc environments provided by Dr Yan Zhang. Moreover, this work also benefitted from the expertise of Prof. Christoph Hauert (Canada) whose helpful comments on the application of evolutionary game theory assisted in the development of this framework.
