Additional information

<19> This paper proposed a visionary and global model for the pursuit and accomplishment of Internet of Things targets, introducing security and privacy by design. It is visionary because of the main authors’ aim to promote behavioral changes in small or large communities with common interests, such as geographical neighbours. This idea lies on several objectives within the past EU FP7 work programme of ICT and societal challenges, namely smart cities, sustainability and security and privacy. This is indeed a line of research still appealing and attracting efforts within Horizon2020.
