Additional information

<32> The paper presents the results of international collaboration with researcher in the USA and UK. The paper explore the use of parametric models that capture design intent within Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) environments for the use in virtual learning software, to aid in creating an understanding and help support studies at all undergraduate levels in engineering design disciplines. The paper considers both the system and student perspectives and can be considered a route-map of the complete process undertaken in developing prototype virtual learning software for use in undergraduate study, on and off campus.
