Additional information

This paper arose from a study (SD14002) commissioned by the UK Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs http://www.thepep.org/ClearingHouse/docfiles/Promoting.Pro-environmental.Behaviour.pdf (contact: Tony Pike), which aimed to identify how policymakers might more effectively encourage individual and institutional behaviour change drawing on economic, socio-psychological and institutional theory. It evaluates high-level UK environmental policies aimed at pro-environmental behaviour change and the measurable outcomes of fourteen key national policy interventions against core effectiveness, efficiency and equity performance criteria.
