Additional information

We report results focusing on visualisation in user interfaces although the test domain is applied computer based training. The results provide a novel and innovative demonstration of the superiority of dynamic interface visualisations over static visualisations. Of equal importance is the fact that while much previous research has reported inconsistent findings, the consistency and clarity of the results reported here will be of significant importance to the HCI community in due course.
