Additional information

The theme of jet fuel cleanliness is also reflected in this paper, although this deals with both water and particulate solids. Its significance to the international aviation industry is that it is the most extensive analysis of water and particulate solids dispersed in jet fuel published to date. The work was coordinated by the main author (SET) at the University of Surrey, and conducted by a team representing the aviation fuels industry at the Shell Technology Centre, Thornton.
