This article solves the challenge of complex and time-consuming process simulation by using a meta-modelling approach. Such a technique can substantially reduce the computation time of highly complex computer simulations, like those involving computational fluid dynamics and molecular mechanics. Therefore, the scope of application is very wide. It is being evaluated for commercial use at the Singapore DSO National Laboratories (a defence-related research institution).
