Double-weighted statement

The 100,000 word book is a co-authored study based on a 3-year AHRC-funded project for which I was principal investigator, with Nadia Kiwan as co-investigator. It is based on our extensive field work in Madagascar, North Africa, and across several European countries, and engages with recent theories of transnationalism as well as developing its own new theoretical and methodological approach. With the exception of the first chapter where my input was substantially greater, all other chapters were co-authored, and equal credit should be given to both authors.
