Additional information

<09>266 papers have appeared between 1st January 2008 and this paper's publication on Search Based Software Testing (SBST), all using global search. This paper demonstrated that these algorithms are outperformed by iterative local search. As a result, local search is now provided as standard in several widely-used tools. The paper combines theoretical landscape analysis and empirical analysis to provide conclusive evidence to support its claims.
