Additional information

Culpeper was the principal author of this journal article which was also an output of the PIC Project. The paper investigates the character of ‘activity types’ in intercultural communication. As co-author and PI of the project, Crawshaw contributed those elements relating to the design of the project and the cultural implications of the encounters described, while the Project Officer, Harrison, carried out the computerised selection of key data on which the analysis was based.
