The publication is part of a series on leading international architects published by Swiss Publishers, Quart Verlag. Rosbottom’s essay introduces and critiques the work of Wingender Hovenier Architecten, who have emerged as leaders of a new generation of Dutch practice. This is the first monograph devoted to them and thus the essay constitutes a major contribution to the understanding and critical positioning of their work to date.
Alongside German and English, the essay has been translated into Italian for the catalogue of an exhibition at the Politecnico di Torino. Rosbottom has been commissioned to write on Wingender Hovenier for leading Swiss journal Werk, Bauen + Wohnen.
