Additional information

This study compares two different approaches for stabilisation of ERFs based on different types of zeolites by using surfactants and a novel method of acoustic stirring. The work has implication for the design of smart systems based on electrorheological fluids. The work was carried out as part of a PhD programme on smart and functional materials and has strengthened the collaboration between TEI Athens (Greece) and University of Bolton in this field. Following this work further collaborative projects sponsored by EU and Greek government have been initiated. This work is part of PhD programme carried out under my supervision.
