Additional information

The paper discusses the incorporation of suitable antimicrobial agents into the SARK Technology materials to provide protection against a wide range of pathogenic bacteria and fully characterises the barrier properties of the treated SARK materials. A novel synergistic system of antimicrobial chemical formulation has been developed, which is extremely efficient and durable for providing suitable barrier properties. As stated in output 3, a full UK patent has already been granted for SARK Technology and a wide range of products are being commercially produced and marketed by Future Textiles Ltd; UK. Anand led the research and writing of the paper .
