Additional information

<22>This describes a detailed formulation of the automated timetabling problem for real world examination scheduling (as opposed to research-based benchmark problems) based around the International Timetabling Competition which the authors helped to organise in 2007. It has helped to extend the research base of examination scheduling to a more practical application area for institutions which require solutions to this problem. The definition is based on real world experience with over 20 institutions, gained through our spin-out company, Eventmap.
