Additional information

<07> The cloud computational model has been widely adopted by industry as a cost-effective means of utilising infrastructures and services. This paper proposes a high-level programming model for acquiring (and using) cloud resources for a given application in a developer-agnostic way. The work was carried out as part of the ECHO project (ESPRC EP/I3405X/1). The knowledge and experience obtained from the ECHO project was applied in an industrial setting by EoverI Ltd by means of an EPSRC-funded Knowledge Transfer Secondment grant(EPSRC KTS S3055CSC).
