Additional information

Hellier leads the team which built and runs the WASP-South transiting-exoplanet survey facility, which discovered 7 of the 8 planets analysed in this paper, and played a large role in all aspects of the planets' discovery. The WASP photometry is a major part of the MCMC analysis in this paper. Hellier participated in the target selection and proposal writing for these follow-up observations. He was sole observer on a 10-night ESO/HARPS observing run for this paper. As a senior English-speaking author (lead-author Triaud was a French-speaking PhD student), Hellier contributed much to the writing and interpretation of the paper.
