Double-weighted statement

This study explores a wide range of traces of the reign of Richard III surviving in Shakespeare's world, including inherited memories, oral traditions, memorials, buildings, material objects, institutions, informal practices, and literary texts. To present an argument regarding the relationship between Shakespeare's era and Richard III's, a considerable time investment was required first for the identification and collection of these disparate kinds of data and primary sources, as also for the development of methodologies appropriate for the analysis of each.
