Additional information

This paper reports on the discovery of a new intermodulation phenomenon caused by mechanical stress-induced instability in printed circuit materials and components. In the paper key experimental results are presented and consistent physical interpretation of the cause of the phenomenon is given. The work has been carried out in collaboration with industry, Taconic Advanced Dielectrics ( contact person V.P. Global sales).
