My involvement was in development of ethics application and supporting documents, recruitment, training and management of research staff. Overall responsibility for the quality of blood samples taken and reaching the research laboratory in good condition for DNA extraction. Also in taking a proportion of these samples from the study cohort. These samples were then analysed for this paper.
