Darnley took, reduced and analysed the data that were used to calibrate and homogenise the entirety of the data presented in the paper from a large number of different telescopes and observers. Darnley was also heavily involved, working with Schaefer, in that calibration and homogenisation process. Darnley co-wrote the related parts of the paper and contributed to the rest of the paper.
