Additional information

<29> Some of our other works have shown the death of empirical evidence in the use of games in education. This paper reports on an RCT of the application of games to the teaching abstract concepts associated with requirements collection and analysis compared to other (control) approaches. Its significance can be seen in the uptake in citations. In addition, the work was pivotal in demonstrating the applicability of a new games engine that was subsequently adopted by commercial company for the development of future game titles.
