Additional information

The key feature of this algorithm is its capability to track rapidly time-varying channels which are of significant importance in real life. It allows increased communication range in wireless sensor networks by focussing the transmission power on the receiver. This work, together with the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networks (Sydney) paper, (DoI:10.1109/WCNC.2010.5506562) has stimulated further research at the Australian National University (DoI:10.1109/ISCIT.2012.6380949) and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (DoI:10.1109/VETECF.2011.6092831).
