High-field superconductivity at an electronic topological transition in URhGe
This paper presents the first evidence for superconductivity in URhGe in high magnetic fields .Its success was dependant on the development of a novel device for rotating the sample around two axes at 0.02 Kelvin and in 30 Tesla without disturbing the delicate thermal balance. This was the first time such measurements were performed under these thermodynamic conditions. This paper has been extended in further studies: Tokyo Inst Technol, DoI:10.7566/JPSJ.82.054704; Swiss Fed Inst Technol, DoI:10.1103/PhysRevB.87.165143; Univ Tokyo, DoI:10.1103/PhysRevB.87.064501; Univ Maryland, DoI:10.1103/PhysRevB.85.134451; TU Braunschweig, DoI:10.1103/PhysRevB.85.054410; Dresden Max Planck Inst, DoI:10.1103/PhysRevB.85.035127; and led to a £1.2M award (EP/J00099X/1).
