Additional information

<22>This reports research partly funded by BT, and collaborating with BT, arising from a technical problem they found in developing methods for call control personalisation. The mathematical formalism and constraint programming approaches we develop can also be extended for a certain kind of scheduling problem. The work extends papers at AAAI, ECAI and CP in 2008, and IJCAI in 2009, and relates to a successful patent application by the same authors: see http://www.google.com/patents/US20110019594. The results led to additional funding from BT and the Irish Research Council. Further developments for the context-dependent case were reported in a CP-2010 paper.
