Additional information

This was the first application of a new condition monitoring system for electric actuators on aircraft undercarriage. The outputs helped Messier-Dowty to demonstrate reliability and robustness similar to hydraulic actuation. The project worked with international academic and industry partners in EU FP6 502909 TATEM (http://cordis.europa.eu/search/index.cfm?fuseaction=result.document&RS_LANG=DE&RS_RCN=12472888&q=) and ELGEAR.
