Additional information

Produced from a project investigating the development of new coatings for gas turbines fired on waste/biomass derived gases. The method of assessing trace metal contaminants was developed at Cranfield as part of an European Coal and Steel Community funded project (ECSC 7220-PR-053). A variation is being applied in a Biomass and Fossil Fuel Research Alliance (BF2RA) funded project on coatings for biomass combustion systems, in collaboration with E.ON (Colin Davis, Colin.Davis@eon.com; Peter Sage, technical@bf2ra.org) and a TSB funded project (TP101167, ASPIRE, with E.ON, RWE, Doosan Power and NPL (Jeff Hulance, JEFF.HULANCE@RWEnpower.com; Tony Fry, tony.fry@npl.co.uk; Paul Kilgallon, paul.kilgallon@doosan.com).
