Additional information

Output from a collaboration with ERIKS (UK), Severn Trent Water and Compact Orbital Gears, within a DTI (UK) project Sustain: grant code STI 6-037. The technology offers early in-service automatic differential damage diagnosis. Further development and experimental validatation for bearings took place under SKF project 023925, (Dr. Murray, brian.murray@skf.com). Implementation has enabled Sustain partners and SKF to maintain a world leading edge in maintenance (market share of 8% envisaged with annual sales of 2000 monitoring systems). (Mr. Ohren, David.Manning-Ohren@eriks.co.uk).

Development continues under European projects IndGear: EC grant agreement number 605834 and PileInspect: EC grant agreement number 605676.
