Additional information

Algorithms developed here are now employed in CFD codes in the German Aerospace Agency DLR (heinrich.luedeke@dlr.de), Pennsylvania State University (houim@lcp.nrl.navy.mil), the French Commissariat a l’Energie Atomique (jerome.griffond@cea.fr) and AWE (Toby.Harris@awe.co.uk) for flows ranging from nuclear hydraulics through to scramjets. This work was funded by the EPSRC, MoD and AWE (EP/C515153-JGS no. 971, EP/D053994) (david.youngs@awe.co.uk) as well as two AWE Industrial PhD Case awards with Prof Drikakis as PI. Ongoing research projects using this new algorithm include an industrial DTA with AWE (Robin.Williams@awe.co.uk), TSB projects 130772 and 10173-53479 with Reaction Engines Ltd (Helen.Webber@reactionengines.co.uk) and TSB project 10173-53479 with AMPAC Ltd (ICoxhill@ampacisp.eu).
