Additional information

A History of Theatre in Spain, co-edited with David Gies, is a commissioned 23-chapter peer-reviewed volume mapping, for the first time in English, a history of Spain's theatrical cultures. Delgado and Gies shared responsibility for the structural organisation of the volume, the commissioning of chapters and the curating and mentoring of 22 authors (both academics and practitioners): a process necessitating research in a broad range of paratheatrical and popular theatres across 10 centuries. Delgado was responsible for a 6,500-word co-authored introduction, a 10,100-word authored chapter, and interviews with Nuria Espert (5,200 words) and Lluís Pasqual (4,700 words).
