Additional information

Collaborative work on miniaturised deformable mirror technology with UK Astronomy Technology Centre, funded by STFC. Produced further STFC funding to develop technology for the EAGLE instrument of the European Extra Large Telescope (E-ELT), and KE funding with Selex Galilieo under STFC IPS (ST/H000135/1, Fast adaptive optics technology for advanced laser applications), Concept Project (20120131_2, Sensor enabled high dioptre deformable mirror system) funded by Scottish Sensor Systems Centre. Team was invited to participate in the OPTICON Workshop, Delft, February 21-22, 2013, and received SUPA (Scottish Universities Physics Alliance) grant to travel to Noliac in Denmark for consortium building for H2020.
