Additional information

The major outcome of this theoretical work was that two experimental groups (Schwefel's group in Max Plank, Germany; Lebental's group in Cachan, France) have been inspired by the results and started to produce microdisk cavities with obstacles (small holes) inside. The paper is becoming a standard reference on theory of microlasers and has led to a few invited talks and seminars. In particular, Morozov gave invited seminars on the subject in University of Bristol, UK (November 2009), Cardiff University, UK (December 2009), University of Groningen, The Netherlands (May 2013).
