Additional information

The Russian datset used in Divjak & Arppe 2013 was also used in work that was returned under the previous REF period. The focus of the previously returned paper was, however, descriptive and methodological as it tried to answer the question of how exactly corpus data can be used to reveal fine-grained meaning differences. The focus of the current paper is theoretical and uses corpus data to establish whether prototypes can be derived from exemplars in a probabilistic fashion, thereby putting both approaches on a continuum.
