High precision dynamic multi-interface profilometry with optical coherence tomography
This work funded by EPSRC (CASE/CNA/04/90) and the National Gallery (Marika Spring) combines the profilometry capability with the fast imaging speed of OCT to dynamically image the drying of picture varnish. It led to a new collaboration with Technische Universität Darmstadt (Prof Cameron Tropea’s group) published in Journal of Colloid & Interface Science, 395, 287-293 (2013). Recognised by an invitation to be on the programme committee of the first international symposium in Optical Coherence Tomography for Non-destructive Testing (http://www.oct4ndt.at/), invited to give a lecture series at University of Science & Technology of China in May 2012.
