Additional information

Timmermann was the sole editor of this volume. He devised the structure, liaised with authors about individual chapters, read the chapters and prepared the manuscript, including his introduction (pp. 1-6), for publication. His own chapter on Section I of the "Groundwork" concerns one of the most central and most widely discussed topics, the question why only action from duty has moral worth (pp. 45–62).
