Additional information

This paper was an output of a US NSF funded project on the use of sensor networks to detect topological changes in spatial fields. This and related work led to collaboration with US Government emergency management agency, Maine National Guard, and a company (Global Relief Techologies) on use of sensors to monitor critical infrastructure and movement of logistical assets in a disaster. Resulted in an invitation to join the Advisory Board to General Libby on Emergency Management in Maine. This and related work led to an invitation to give a keynote at AGILE conference, Guimares, Portugal.
