Additional information

Over the past eight years, we have carried out a significant body of research into the use of computer games technology to provide learning environments for a variety of technical subjects. Although this had been done quite regularly in the past, no detailed research had been carried out to determine a methodological approach to the design and development of such games-based environments. The importance of this work is in the provision of a tried and tested methodology for games-based learning.
