Additional information

This paper provides an analysis of past, present and future R&D activities and energy policy in Malaysia. It is the first to provide a comprehensive analysis (and forecast) of the Feed-In Tariff (FiT) incentive in Malaysia and to provide a comparative cost-benefit analysis of the Feed-In Tariff (FiT) in Malaysia and in the UK. It also compares the FiT incentive to other mechanisms of investment. It includes a list of recommendations to the Malaysian government and to the private sector about how to increase the penetration of solar PV systems in the country.
